Video analytics startup Tubular Labs has named Marc Schraer its new Senior Vice President of Sales and Customer Success.

In the newly created role, Schraer will oversee all sales strategy and operations for the company, which provides a deep YouTube marketing and analytics dashboard for video creators, brands, and media companies. To date, the company has raised more than $15 million from FirstMark Capital, Canaan Ventures, Lerer Hippeau Ventures, and other investors.

Schraer will head up Tubular’s new New York office, and oversee the current sales staff that’s located in Los Angeles and the company’s headquarters in Mountain View. He is also tasked with hiring new salespeople in “key cities” as the company looks to expand.

Most recently, Schraer was SVP of sales at Wochit, a technology platform that’s able to convert text into video newscasts. He has also held roles at Visible Measures, where he was SVP of global sales and account management, and Google’s DoubleClick, where he served as head of agency sales.
