ShopKeep Names Daniel Rolnick Chief Technology Officer

Former Yodle Chief Technology Officer will join ShopKeep’s management team to oversee strategic technology initiatives

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–ShopKeep, the cloud-based technology solution that transforms an iPad into a smart, connected cash register that is used by more than 23,000 independent businesses, today announced the appointment of Daniel Rolnick as the Company’s new Chief Technology Officer. Rolnick will report to Michael DeSimone, ShopKeep’s Chief Executive Officer, and serve as a member of the Company’s executive team. In his role, Rolnick will lead the Company’s strategy across key technology initiatives, aligning technology related decisions with the company’s strategic vision.

As a technical executive, Rolnick brings 16 years of experience with a strong background in engineering and architecture. Prior to joining ShopKeep, Rolnick served as Chief Technology Officer for Yodle, an online marketing service that helps local businesses build a strong online presence. Rolnick spent the eight years prior at Barclays Capital working on POINT, a SaaS platform for 200 of the largest global investment portfolio managers, where he held the position of Head of POINT Application.
